At Terrapin Farms we raise high-protein Coastal Hay, and Registered Dorper Sheep for both breeding stock and market lamb meat. Our lamb meat is marketed under the name Texas Dorper Lamb, LLC.  Our stock come from the proven genetics of Texas- and National-prize winning ancestry.  We place a high value on sustainability and good stewardship from farm to fork. Each and every one of our farm management processes has been selected to produce our superior quality, all natural lamb meat, and we treat every lamb like it's the next one we'd be proud to serve to our family and yours.

Consistently high quality doesn't just happen.

It takes selecting the right breed of sheep, developed to produce the highest carcass qualities of flavor, tenderness and meat/bone ratio. It also requires providing the right environment and space to thrive without over-managing. The Dorper Sheep is ideal for the climate and terrain of the Texas Hill Country.
